Irresponsibility...

The only reason I bring this up is because my little cousin wants an iPod Touch for Christmas... That shouldn't be a problem, except two things.

1. He's eight years old.

2. He loses all of his toys, his older brother's games, and his own backpack at school.

And yet, at the same time, he thinks that he could be responsible with this thing! Honestly, if you can't even keep track of your backpack, then you have no chance with an iPod touch. But why are some people so good at losing things, when others lose nothing?

I've narrowed it down to a couple of things that can determine your attention span and organization: ADD, ADHD, and OCD.

For those who don't know, ADD is Attention Deficit Disorder. People with ADD have no control over their own attention- sometimes they can't pay attention to anything, other times they can concentrate on one thing and one thing only. Usually, multitasking drives them insane. These people often have trouble with organization.

ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. People with ADHD often are energetic and disorganized. They have the attention span of someone with ADD, and a lot of hyperactivity to go along with it. They also are disorganized and lose things.

Last is OCD- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. These people are the polar opposite of ADD- they cannot do without organization and tidiness. OCD is different for everyone- I have one friend who has to have everything symmetrical, a friend who needs everything neat, and friends who need to have things organized. These people seldom lose anything.

So possibly, my little cousin is ADD or ADHD. That, or he just doesn't know how to put things back- which I can believe. This is the kid who left his two toy cars on the sofa and then left to go sleep. He also doesn't know how to do ANYTHING for himself- after all, when he had to scoop ice cream for himself two days ago, he loudly proclaimed "But nobody trained me!" That is probably it- he just doesn't do anything for himself.

I Don't Understand...

One thing I have never been able to understand is how easily so many writers *cough cough* Queen Galligah *cough cough* Pluvio *cough cough* Nonja *cough cough* *keeps coughing* *dies of coughing* *reanimates as Wrimbie* Can make such fantastic covers! I can only make simplistic covers and am learning how to make covers using burn, sponge, pinch, bloat, etc. tools! I don't even understand half the buttons. Those guys are fantastic cover makers, but I can't understand how they make it.

All I know is that they use Pixlr. Like me.

So yeah, I just felt like putting that out there.

Au revoir!

Or A Bientôt!

Or whatever the last one is that I forgot!

Basically, bye!
